9 Q’s with Battiest’s Carli LeForce – Presented by Kiamichi Family Medical Center

VYPE: Who has been your favorite coach throughout your career and how did they impact you as a player?

Carli LeForce: My summer league coach, Zeke Green. He has helped me develop as a player when I was transitioning from junior high to high school.

VYPE: Did you have any teammates that you admire or that supported you?

CL: I have had many great teammates throughout my basketball career.

VYPE: Who was your favorite teacher and how were they influential in your life? 

CL: I have two favorite teachers. Kendra DeLozier (FCCLA) and Tuff Parsons (FFA). They have both driven countless miles getting me back and forth between FFA and sports activities. I am deeply thankful to both for the support they have shown in everything I do.

VYPE: What preparation have you taken this off-season to better equip yourself for the upcoming season?

CL: I have spent time running to get in shape for this season and have been in the gym frequently.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

CL: Basketball has taught me how to be a leader and how to work well with others.

VYPE: What has been your favorite memory in your sport?

CL: I can’t pick one, too many great memories.

VYPE: What do you hope to accomplish this season?

CL: Since we are a young team, I hope to be a leader and example to the younger players.

VYPE: What matchup are you most looking forward to this season?

CL: I’m looking forward to all of them.

VYPE: What are your plans after high school?

CL: I plan on getting a degree with emphasis on a pre-medical track at no particular school and then going on to medical school to specialize in dermatology.
