Reflecting on her favorite coach, Leah highlights Coach Patrick Nix. “My favorite coach throughout my basketball career has been Coach Nix. He pushes all of us to be the best we can be on and off the court.”
Teammates play a pivotal role in Leah’s basketball experience, and she admires Tayler Trapp. “Since I have known her, she is always the first one to practice, she makes sure everything is taken care of and she is one of the most encouraging teammates on the floor, always willing to help her teammates.”
In the academic realm, Leah acknowledges Mrs. Morse as her favorite teacher, emphasizing her encouragement and dedication to her students’ success. For the off-season, Leah invested time in the gym and weight room, aiming to boost her confidence and contribute to the team’s overall performance.
Basketball, for Leah, transcends the court, teaching valuable life lessons: “Basketball has taught me that going into something with the right attitude and giving your max effort can make a huge impact on everything you do, making you more determined and more likely to succeed.”

Post high school, Leah aspires to attend the University of Oklahoma and pursue a career as an army sonographer, showcasing her commitment to both academics and basketball.
