
VYPE: Who are some of your biggest influences or role models?
Davion: Rustin Coffey because he has all the qualities of a true leader. He’s gonna do what it takes to win and help his team. He always is motivating his teammates to get more shots up and put more time in the gym.
VYPE: What teacher has had the biggest impact on your life? How?
Davion: That would be Mrs. Trapp. When I’m having a bad day she always brings the positive out of me.
VYPE: What does it mean to you to represent your school and community when you play?
Davion: It means everything. I want the little kids watching to want to be like me and I want to make everyone proud.
VYPE: What has it taken to be successful in your sports?
Davion: Hard work and dedication, while also putting in work on my own time.
VYPE: What has been the highlight moment of your career?
Davion: Going to state in the 4×100 for track and winning the MC-6 in basketball.
VYPE: Is there an opponent that you enjoy beating the most?
Davion: Yes, I love the feeling of beating our rivals, Wright City.
VYPE: Which teammate do you enjoy working against the most in practice?
Davion: Rustin he’s the best player I’ve played with so it pushes me to do better.
VYPE: Who is the least appreciated player on your team?
Davion: Thiago Lima because he is the best when it comes to being a good teammate.
VYPE: Who is your favorite person you follow on social media?
Davion: The Dancing Umpire because I can go watch anytime I need a good laugh.
