VALLIANT BULLDOGS CHEER
Coach: STEPHANIE COULTER
2025 SEASON OUTLOOK
With determination, heart, and a strong work ethic, the Valliant Bulldogs cheer squad is ready to take the next step in competition and spirit under the leadership of head coach Stephanie Coulter. “This is a team that works hard and doesn’t complain,” said Coulter. “So far, they have completed several fundraisers, had a successful 3 days at J\&C Cheer Camp and have been working hard in practices.”
The Bulldogs are coming off a strong season, finishing sixth in the state in Class 3A Game Day Cheer, and the momentum has only grown. “Last year our team made the finals… Every year we set goals and they just keep crushing them,” said Coulter. “They have their sights set on a Top 3 finish this year and I know they will put in the work and give it their all!”
Senior Abby Crutchfield has emerged as the team’s MVP, known for her complete skill set and passionate leadership. “She is an all-around cheerleader,” said Coulter. “She has great motion technique, a strong voice, and amazing jumps. Above all of that she has a passion for the sport of cheer and her love for cheer is always shining!”
Another standout is senior M’Kenna Hankins, this year’s Future Star. “M’Kenna gave cheer a try as a sophomore, and her raw natural ability has now been smoothed and practiced so much that you would never know she has only been cheering three years,” said Coulter. “She has a bright future in the medical field after high school, but she’s leaving a big impact on this program.”
Sophomore Sarynidee Kennybrew is one to watch this season, especially for her performance ability. “She has become a great flyer and her performance skills and sign work during our competition is something I want everyone to strive to achieve,” said Coulter.
Laila Barnett has earned the Character Counts recognition for her attitude and heart. “She may be having a bad day, but you will never know it because she wears a smile and lifts others up,” said Coulter. “She is one of the kindest and sweetest young ladies you will ever meet.”
This team is ready—and excited—for what’s ahead. “I can’t wait to see what God has in store for this team!” said Coulter.
