Idabel’s Bryce Bee
Some athletes find their identity in one sport. For Bryce Bee, growth has come from balancing three.
A junior at Idabel High School, Bee competes in football, powerlifting and track, embracing the unique challenges each sport brings. While the demands of training year-round can be intense, Bee sees each season as an opportunity to sharpen both his body and mindset.
“I participate in football, powerlifting and track, and each sport has helped shape me into the person I am today,” Bee said.
Football has taught Bee lessons that reach far beyond the field. He credits the sport with helping him understand the value of trust, discipline and resilience.
“Football has taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline and perseverance,” he said.
In the weight room, powerlifting has challenged him in a different way. Success comes not from quick results, but from consistent effort and a willingness to push through discomfort. That process has taught Bee how much growth comes from dedication and daily discipline.

“Powerlifting has shown me the value of hard work, dedication and pushing myself beyond my limits,” he said.
Track has added another important dimension to his development, helping him refine his throwing ability while strengthening his competitive edge.
One of Bee’s proudest accomplishments is something that often goes unnoticed by outsiders: balancing three sports while staying focused academically. The schedule demands discipline, sacrifice and strong time management, but Bee takes pride in handling it.
“Success comes from consistency, determination and never giving up when challenges arise,” he said.
Bee is quick to recognize the people who have helped him along the way. He credits his coaches, teammates, teachers and family for encouraging him and pushing him to improve.
Their support has helped shape not only the athlete he is becoming, but the leader he hopes to be.
Looking ahead, Bee remains focused on improving in all three sports while continuing to set an example for younger athletes.
“My goal is to continue improving in all three sports while setting a positive example for younger athletes,” Bee said. “I want to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way.”
