Kylie Corley’s determination and passion for softball shine as brightly as her achievements. From being a four-year-old playing T-ball with her brother’s team to stepping onto the field as a leader for Valliant High School, she’s embraced every challenge with grit and grace. Now, as a seasoned athlete, she’s driven by one goal: to leave a lasting legacy for her team and community.

Kylie’s leadership goes beyond just her performance on the field. “My specific role on the field in fast pitch is to be the best first baseman in the state,” she said. “In slow-pitch, I’m aiming at sitting my opponents on the bench. Off the field, my role is to be a leader and confidant to my team.” 

This season, Kylie describes the team’s chemistry as “strong and determined.” She’s proud of how they’ve come together. “We complement each other’s strengths and have one common goal of making it to the state tournament,” she explained.

No athlete’s journey is without its challenges, and for Kylie, one of the hardest moments came during a tough loss in fast pitch. “The most challenging part of my sports career is losing in super regionals in fast-pitch and not advancing to state,” she said. However, this setback only fueled her determination to push harder. 

As the season progresses, Kylie’s goals remain rooted in teamwork and growth. “My goals and hopes for this season are to be the best teammate and to go deep in playoffs,” she shared. 

Kylie’s ambitions are not limited to softball. After high school, she plans to pursue powerlifting and her business aspirations. “My plans after high school are going to college and being the fiercest powerlifter wherever I’m at,” she said. “After obtaining a business degree, I want to open my own salon.” 

Throughout her journey, Kylie has been supported by a strong and loving family. “I would like to thank my entire family for supporting me,” she said, listing out key figures who’ve been instrumental in her success. It’s clear that Kylie’s family has been the backbone of her journey, providing love and encouragement every step of the way.
